Generic Farmworker/Equipment Operator
For the forthcoming spreading and sowing season, we have an opening for a motivated farmhand/machine operator in our large-scale farming operation. We are a family-owned farm that predominantly cultivates canola, wheat, and barley. The location of the farm is Ongerup, Western Australia (4 hours southeast of Perth and 1.5 hours north of Albany). The role will begin in February or March.

The job includes operating large-scale agricultural equipment and performing general farm tasks, such as infrastructure maintenance, sheep work, and equipment repair. Spreading requires the loading and operation of a Case Magnum 340 hauling a 15t Agrispread spreader. The primary job during seeding will be driving a Case Quadtrac 600 with a 60-foot DBS bar.
Prior expertise with machines is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the qualified applicant. Candidates must be physically fit, possess outstanding English abilities, have a high work standard, and have a pleasant attitude.
