Responsibilities of Project Manager Jobs In Canada 2023

• Capability to effectively manage project scope, risk, quality, cost, change management, and schedule
• Working with the project sponsor to define project messaging, establish objectives, and establish priorities
• Facilitating risk assessment/mitigation sessions and risk management follow-through with a balanced and business-driven approach.
• Such processes and execution are enhanced by a thorough comprehension of the project management life cycle and related principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Manage and execute project budgets and assume responsibility for project profitability
• Assist in the identification and creation of SOWs, Change Orders, etc.
• If required, participate in Steering Committee deliverables as part of the project delivery process.

• Participate in Hitachi Solutions’s continuous process improvement efforts concerning practice, delivery teams, and methodology projects
• Develop a revenue-managed portfolio of at least $1.7 million
• Support sales on a periodic basis by offering estimates of fresh prospects.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or requested and completes the Annual Review process for all team members.

Qualifications and competencies

• Minimum of five years of professional services experience Project Management position
• Capability to successfully communicate with Senior Management (including business and IT C-level personnel) and customers/vendors.
• Balanced knowledge of business and human management
• Experience with the principles, techniques, and methodologies of Project Management, such as AGILE, SCRUM, PMI, etc.
