Through yearly gatherings of CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars from across CIFAR’s research programs and various learning opportunities, CIFAR delivers a number of leadership development-related training options.
Engagement in global Communities:
To effectively inform and distribute their findings, the research leaders of the future must involve important stakeholders in their communities, government, industry, and the general public.
We provide chances for early-career researchers to expand the impact of their research by meeting with academic and non-academic leaders.

Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to international students seeking financing for research in Canada.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants may be located anywhere in the world, must hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent), and must be within the first five years after beginning a full-time research position at a higher education or research institution. The research interests of scholars should align with the topics and objectives of a recruiting CIFAR research program.
Not eligible for application are postdoctoral fellows.
